Lori about her areas of expertise:

I have knowledge and experience in treating depression, anxiety, ADHD, ODD, grief and loss, post-traumatic stress disorder. I also help individuals who are having issues with family members.

My Skills/Methods: I provide a non-judgmental, safe environment to help clients who are going through a difficult time. I feel that my down-to-earth, caring nature helps people feel more at ease. I am also experienced in using play as a means of assessment and expression. Play teaches children skills, such as following directions, taking turns, sharing, etc. I also use cognitive behavioral therapy as a main therapeutic intervention to help lessen depression, anxiety, and improve self-esteem. I also believe that when working with children, that family is the key ingredient to facilitating change in the child.

Lori’s hobbies and interests include:

I enjoy doing yoga and practicing mindfulness. I also enjoy running. My main focus is my family and friends, and spending as much time as possible with them.
