Anne Asarian received her Bachelor’s degree in Social Science from Mary Baldwin College and earned her MA in Psychology from Duquesne University. Anne currently provides psychotherapy services at our McMurray/Canonsburg location.

With a respectful, collaborative approach, Anne has specializes in adult individual and couples counseling. Substance and process addiction, depression, anxieties, grieving, trauma and situational crisis are most often counseled.  Parenting and step-parenting needs and trainings have been worked through often during her career.

Anne frames the therapy sessions as insight seeking, problem solving and life skills learning. Conflict resolution and assertion communication as well as learned compassion and healthy boundaries  are basic skills often explored. Emotional self-regulation is a foundational goal through the guidance of CBT, gestalt, interpersonal attachment theories , and EMDR.

NOT ABLE TO PAY FOR PRESCRIBED BRAND NAME MEDICATION AND THERE IS NO GENERIC?

Check if your medication manufacturer has PATIENT ASSISTANCE PROGRAM and if you qualify for it. A patient assistance program provides prescription medicines to patients in need who do not have prescription drug coverage or who are underinsured through either private and/or government health plans. Each pharmaceutical company determines the eligibility criteria for its patient assistance programs.
