Dr. Kang has over 30 years of experience in treating psychiatric disorders in both hospital environment and office based practice.

Harinder-Ghuman-MD
Child psychiatrist Dr. Harinder Ghuman has joined CCCA in 2013 following his recent move to Pittsburg from Tuscon, Arizona. Harinder Ghuman, MD is board certified in adult psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry.

Dr. Harinder Ghuman earned his medical degree at Government Medical College in Patiala, Punjab, India.

Residency in psychiatry at Rochester Psychiatric Center affiliated with University of Rochester, N.Y.

Fellowship in child psychiatry at Washington University in St. Louis, Mo.

He is a Distinguished Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association and Fellow of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. His research interests include studying treatment outcomes, attrition, grandparents raising grandchildren with emotional problems and psychopharmacological prescribing practices.

Dr. Harinder Ghuman is providing clinical care for children, adolescents and young adults, with psychiatric disorders such as autism and autism spectrum disorders, anxiety disorders, developmental disorders, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, depression, bipolar disorder, post traumatic stress disorder and other emotional and behavioral disorders. Dr. Harinder’s treating methods include individual psychotherapy, medications and patient education.

NOT ABLE TO PAY FOR PRESCRIBED BRAND NAME MEDICATION AND THERE IS NO GENERIC?

Check if your medication manufacturer has PATIENT ASSISTANCE PROGRAM and if you qualify for it. A patient assistance program provides prescription medicines to patients in need who do not have prescription drug coverage or who are underinsured through either private and/or government health plans. Each pharmaceutical company determines the eligibility criteria for its patient assistance programs.
